The final wedding to go up from 2008 is for Kate and David, who were married at St Mark's Church in Wimbledon, followed by a reception at Pembroke Lodge.
The day started wonderfully sunny, but then turned cold and cloudy as the afternoon went on - as always, spirits remained high during the wedding service as the stained glass windows flooded the church with vibrant splashes of colour.
As this is the last wedding of 2008, I am going to post a few more of my favourites than usual, so you may need to bear with it if you have a slow connection:
The flowers:
The preparation:
This shoe shot is one of my favourite detail shots of the day, and I have to confess that it was not mine. Thank you to Nicky Adams, my wonderful assistant for the day who helped in so many ways xx
Another one of Nicky's great shots ...
.. and again - she was just fantastic with the boys.
Final prep ..
The most adorable Moo, with Auntie Kate ...
The Arrival ...
A church, full of candles, colours and Christmas Cheer ...
Moo, in her world ...
The shot that Kate and I planned for several months ... it should have been another "Se7en" (see Aug 08), but we were only able to make 6. Hannah, you were missed by, and in the thoughts of us all ...
A brilliantly choreographed first dance ...
... and I could not help the moody lighting for my final shot!
A truly wondrous affair and a great way to finish off the year's posts!
No rest for the wicked though, as my first wedding for 2009 kicks off next weekend!!
